Welcome to the American Legion Post 71!
Since our charter in Denton, Texas, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community.
My Vision for the Post 71 Family is that we - as American Veterans - continue to foster and perpetuate the critical areas of visioning, prospecting, enrolling, training, and building belief, while creating developmental structures necessary for a strong national security that promotes patriotism and honor of our Nation among the old and the young, steadfastly engaging in the welfare and care of our veterans and their families. Post 71 supports Veterans and the local communities through hosting a variety of programs and projects as well as through supporting initiatives at state level by the Department of Texas and the National level by the American Legion.
Be sure to go to our "Upcoming Events" and "Calendar" tabs for the latest information on what we are currently doing to help our fellow Veterans and the community, as well as visit the, Support Our Troops, Oratorical, Boys State, Girls State, Jobs and the Veterans' Resources tabs for year-round programs, events and projects.
I hope to see you at one of our meetings or events!
